―Anne Weying[src]

Anne Weying is a lawyer who was engaged to Eddie Brock, only to lose her job from an incident with his interview with Carlton Drake. When Brock came back to her life after six months following their breakup, Weying gained a relationship with Dan Lewis, leading to them to grow apart from each other.

Once Brock became bonded with a Symbiote named Venom, Weying became involved with the side effects it inflicted on him, leading to her finding out he was transforming into a monster, and she tried to separate Brock from Venom once it was revealed that the symbiote was killing him on the inside. Weying bonded with the symbiote and became She-Venom in order to save Brock once he was kidnapped by the Life Foundation, she also tried to stop the fight between Brock and Drake.

Once the Life Foundation was exposed for their crimes, Weying decided to reconcile with Brock after their previous relationship went sour, agreeing to remain friends while she dated Lewis. When Lewis proposed to her, Weying broke the news to Brock, who did not take it very well. Weying and Lewis then helped Brock escape from Patrick Mulligan's custody with the help of Venom, though Weying ended up being captured by Cletus Kasady and Frances Barrison. Weying was saved by Brock and Venom, who killed Kasady before bidding Weying and Lewis their goodbyes to evade the police.
